Hello, my name is Travis and I'm the sole owner/operator of DSW.  Dog Soul Woodworks is located in Carmel Indiana, one of the greatest little towns in the United States.  Dog Soul specializes in being your one-stop-shop for all your woodworking needs.  If you need someone to build you a home, make the cabinetry, build all your furniture, and turn an exotic bowl for the dining table center piece… after 3 decades of woodworking, I’ve done it.  I’ve been told that I have a lot of acronyms going on in my head, and what that means for my craft is really well made stuff!  I over-think my designs, I over-think my construction, and my attention to detail borders on obsession.  Trust me when I say that my standards of quality are probably higher than yours, and anything I make is made well… and that’s the point!   So, if it takes me an extra day to make a jig so that I can do one thing the correct way, that’s what I’m going to do.  Bottom line, nothing would ever leave my shop until I wouldn’t be embarrassed to hand it to you in person.  This personality trait of being overly thorough, organized, and meticulous always made me very good at what I did, and this led to many career advancements, until I was the Production Manager of a plant in an industry that I knew very little about.  The stereotypical business where the primary function is cut every corner, squeeze every penny, and people are just numbers.  This is absolutely not how I am wired.  So after more than 30 years of building for someone else's business, I’ve left that life in a quest to bring back quality, customer satisfaction, and a very personal touch.  My shop may be small, but my knowledge base isn't.  I'm not reliant on big fancy equipment to give you professional grade quality.  Quality that came from a person and not a machine.  Craftsmen have their hands on every board, every nail, and every brush stroke.  I take great pride in what I do, and your happiness is paramount in that regard.   So please check out my portfolio gallery to get a small glimpse of what I’ve created over the years.  Also, take a tour of my shop and check out the most adorable gallery, the namesake of this company and the fur behind it all!
